This workshop covers the 10 primary essential oils and an overview of the Aromatherapy discipline. This workshop provides a general background sufficient for cursory use of Aromatherapy mainly for mood enhancement and relaxation. Safety issues in Aromatherapy are discussed as well as some basic blending skills. The Introductory workshop is usually the first workshop of the series of workshops composing the Basic Aromatherapy Course, but it is designed to stand alone for those who just want to learn the fundamentals and basic essential oil blending skills. *Continuing Education Units (CEU) are for certified massage therapists and will soon be offered to registered nurses (RN).
