The Basic Aromatherapy course (20 CEUs) provides a comprehensive, up-to-date overview of the aromatherapy field, and covers its scientific basis using a holistic framework. The course provides hands-on experience and knowledge of the safe and effective use of 40 essential oils. Students learn how to create synergistic, customized blends for therapeutic purposes. Upon completion of the course requirements, health practitioners will have acquired the basic skills to gradually incorporate aromatherapy into their practice. The Basic course usually consists of four 5-hr workshops.

EXTENDED BASIC COURSE FOR CERTIFICATION:

The Extended Basic Aromatherapy course (25 CEUs), covers in addition to the basic course material, also case studies and other pertinent information tailored to massage applications. It illustrates the ways by which the therapeutic effects of essential oils can significantly enhance the healing benefits of massage. This course provides the CEUs needed by licensed massage therapists for re-certification. The Extended Basic course usually consists of five 5-hr workshops.
