Note: The brown grass you see in these pics was under water about 10 years ago. But the water levels here in Michigan keep dropping each year. Scary. Everybody has there own theory as to why.
I live over 50 miles north of a 6000 acre forest fire that started Sunday. Of course I don’t watch TV or read the paper, or listen to the raido, so I had no idea why it was looking like this outside today. It is really windy outside, so it was carried this far. I thought somebody was burning leaves or something. But by the time I drove 13 miles to another town I realized the odor was following me and it was really hazy out. So I called my dad and asked him what was burning. He told me about this FIRE. These are some pics from downtown today. Below is a pic of the actual fire.
