My samples arrived yesterday afternoon and I have chosen my pieces that I will test this out on. I have two; the first is a piece of wood trimwork that looks to have been painted 6 or 7 times, the second is a vintage hinge that has probably one or two coats of paint on it. I wanted to try both metal and wood.

1. It has an odor but it is very mild and not at all unpleasant.
2. The color (while not really relevant) reminds of a creamsicle.
3. Thick enough to brush on without much dripping down the sides.
